Monthly Walkabouts

The GPOESC walkabouts are a great way to meet other OES owners casually. Walkabouts are scheduled each month at various locations around the Portland metropolitan area. The time and meet-up location for each walk will be posted here each month and the walks will generally last 30-60 minutes. Wherever possible, we will start and end our walks at a location that serves refreshments and is OES friendly.

Save the dates: Third weekend (Saturday or Sunday) of each month. Non-club members and guests are always encouraged to join in on our walkabouts!

Walkabout - July. There will be no organized walk for the month of July. Please join the club at the Specialty Show Event Friday, July 23, at the Portland Expo Center. See show details >>

Walkabout - Saturday, August 21. Washington Park and the Rose Gardens. We were met with so much enthusiasm last year as we walked the park, we have set the date once again for this year. We will meet at the main entrance at 11:00 a.m. The entrance is one block south of W. Burnside on Vista Ave. (23rd). Be sure to wear your good walking shoes as there will be a lot of hills to walk on smooth and paved surfaces. See more park info and park map >>
