December Walkabout – Saturday, December 17, 5:45 p.m.
Portland's Peacock Lane, between SE Stark and SE Belmont and one block east of SE 39th. Walk among the colorful Christmas lights of Peacock Lane. We will meet in the parking lot of the Walgreen's at the corner of Belmont and 39th. This walk typically is very slow-paced, as Peacock Lane draws large crowds of people, especially if the weather is good. Our OES get a tremedous amount of attention, and in the past it has taken well over an hour to go up and down the two-block walk.
If you have any questions please call Lita Long at 503-589-9290.
This walk is weather dependent. Please check the club website walkabout page within 48 hours of the scheduled walk time. If weather is too inclement to do the walk, a notice will be posted.
A Great day of Sheep Herding
GPOESC holds an annual herding event to give our OES an opportunity to do what comes natural - herding sheep.
